Las Vegas Mental Health Services

Las Vegas, the dazzling city of lights and entertainment, can also be a pressure cooker. I have spent 10 years in Las Vegas, and understand the importance of mental health services, like therapy, couples therapy, and coaching for Las Vegas residents.

The constant stimulation, 24/7 energy, and tourist crows can leave residents feeling drained and overwhelmed. Financial pressures can be high, with a competitive housing market and a service industry job market that can be feast or famine. These factors can all contribute to stress, anxiety, and relationship strain.

Valley of Fire State Park

I first came to Vegas as a D1 swimmer for UNLV. When I moved back to Vegas, I found I could improve my mental health by getting into the nature of Mt. Charleston, Red Rocks, or Fire Valley. I enjoyed the Vegas was only a few hours from the beautiful national parks in Utah. Although I worked on the Strip in several of the Cirque du Soleil shows and at the Wynn, I found my meditation practice in the backyard of my home in Summerlin a nice reprieve from the chaos. I later moved near the Arts District, and found more community in the local food and art scene.

Seven Magic Mountains

I joined Summerlin Therapy to provide services in person, and now provide services virtually. Virtual therapy and coaching offers a safe and confidential space to navigate these challenges. These services can help you develop coping mechanisms to manage stress, improve communication, and build resilience. They can also be a supportive partner in navigating the unique pressures of living in a city like Las Vegas that never sleeps. By investing your mental well-being, you can learn to thrive in the midst of the Vegas whirlwind.

As someone who has spent over 10 years in Las Vegas, I understand the challenges and unique identity of the city. I work with clients around the Las Vegas area, in Henderson, Summerlin, Downtown Las Vegas, the Arts District and more.
